Ashley Whitt is a Dallas native and artist who currently resides in Denton, Texas. Ashley attends Texas Woman's University where she is a candidate for a Master's of Fine Art in Photography, graduating in May of 2012. In 2009, she graduated from UT Arlington with a BFA in Photography. Whitt's imagery focuses on a personal journey and narrative while drawing inspiration from literature, film noir, and the history of art/photography. She implements a variety of photographic techniques including: pinhole, plastic camera, alternative processes, digital imaging with Photoshop, as well as traditional black and white silver printing.
